Sheetmetal Capabilities
We have a large modern workshop situated in Woolston, Christchurch. We have specifically kept an open floor area that can be utilized to either store finished goods or as a large product assembly area. Our sheetmetal manufacturing capabilities are as listed below.

Guillotines
We have two guillotines, one for cutting up to 5.0mm stainless steel and 6.0mm mild steel 3.600 metres in length. The other cuts up to 3.0mm mild steel to 2.500 metres long. |

Laser Cutting
We have a 1.5kW machine capable of cutting up to 6.0mm stainless steel and 8.0mm mild steel, using oxygen. It can cut up to 3.0mm stainless steel using nitrogen, to give a clean cut. |

Turret Punching
We have turret punches for punching up to 2.0mm stainless steel and 3.0mm cold rolled mild steel. |

Pressing
We have a 60 tonne power press, capable of producing a variety of products, depending on tooling. |
Folding
We have two CNC press brakes, one with a capacity of 120 tonne, with a bed length of 3.0 metres, and the other with a capacity of 35 tonne, with a bed length of 2.5 metres. |

Welding
We have equipment for welding most metals, using a variety of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, manual arc, oxy-acetylene and spot welding. |

Plasma Cutting
We have manual equipment capable of up to 20mm mild steel. |

Overhead Cranes
Total lifting capacity of 5 tonne. |

Finishing and Surface Treatment
We can arrange for the following finishing and surface treatments to be applied to manufactured products:
- Powdercoating
- Bead blasting
- Shot blasting
- Polishing
- Galvanising
- Hot zinc spraying
- Stainless steel electro polishing
